Campbell Minister | CEO & Creative Director
Campbell started her firm in 2017 while taking courses in interior design. She dove headfirst into a new build construction project, forcing her to become intensely focused on project management. Fast forward five years later and Campbell can be found leading a team of designers, operational support, and tradespeople to bring her client’s vision to life.
Campbell acts on behalf of her clients at every step of the design process, caring for their home as if it were her own. She leverages strong working relationships with trusted vendors to execute each client’s vision.
As the daughter of a serial decorator, artist, and antique shop owner, Campbell has an innate sense of style and an eye for good design. Merging this background along with degrees in communication, education, and art history, Campbell uses these skills to successfully turn clients’ design ideas into gorgeously real spaces.
Katie Leisey | Director of Operations
Katie is the glue that holds the team together. She comes to CMD with a background in pharmaceutical sales, advertising sales, and as a homemaker for 11 years, raising her 2 daughters. Katie graduated from Temple University with a BS in Biology and a BA in Religion. She works both behind the scenes, and onsite with clients and vendors to make sure all of our project fulfillment needs are met. Katie works tirelessly to organize our client’s projects once ordered, set production schedules, and follow through with our tradespeople onsite. By working alongside the design team, Katie can set the stage for successful installation days which makes for happy clients.
Melissa Newman | Designer
True story – Melissa and Campbell met on Instagram during the Pandemic, and it was a perfect match. Melissa keeps us all aligned, organized, and goal-oriented. You will oftentimes find her measuring and drafting clients’ spaces, planning out furniture schematics, and translating our visions into AUTOCAD. She has a knack for articulating exactly what a client envisions and is extremely detail-oriented. She has a background in Communications, studied Interior Design at Parsons and NYSID, and continues to further her design studies whenever she can. Melissa feels most inspired when she’s traveling and spending time outdoors, whether it be taking a local hike or on the slopes of Colorado, “her happy place”. She feels some of the most interesting color and pattern palettes are found in nature. Melissa met her husband in college and together they have two kids and two cats; she hopes to someday add a dog to the mix. She firmly believes in creating a home that is livable first, and beautiful second.
Mary Ellen Harding | Designer
Maryellen’s natural raw talent in the kitchen and bath arena is unmatched. She loves mixing materials and finishes with both vintage and modern elements. She got her start in interior design by renovating a two-family house and then a single-family home on her own. Before working at CMD, she had a career in fashion and beauty. Maryellen will go the extra mile to make sure the exact finish sample is approved for our client’s countertops, knobs, fixtures, etc. before purchasing. Her ability to deliver fresh and classic kitchen design has taken CMD to the next level. Maryellen loves shopping, scrolling through Facebook marketplace for a good find, and survives on coffee!
Sara Hart | Designer
Sarah’s love for interior design started at a young age, rearranging her bedroom furniture regularly and creating collages from magazine clippings before Pinterest inspiration boards were a thing. She’s been putting that natural gift for design and styling to good use at CMD since 2022, starting on the operations side, and more recently pivoting to the design side. Sarah believes in really getting to know the client to create a space that works for and feels like them, with the ultimate goal of making their house their home. While she loves creating spaces rich in earth tones and textures, she also enjoys stepping outside of the box for clients. When she’s not perusing wallpaper and fabric samples or cheering on one of her four boys at a game or music performance, you’ll likely find Sarah in a hot yoga class or walking her dogs.
Lindsay Miller | Procurement
Lindsay‘s involvement in CMD helped catapult us into a more efficient and well-oiled machine. She is an essential part of proposal generation, ordering, tracking, and delivery. We run thousands of orders through our business monthly – and without Lindsay, they would all end up on a freight container in the Pacific Ocean!!! Lindsay lives on the West Coast of Southern California, which allows us to keep our business running even when the rest of us are asleep over here in New Jersey. She has two young spunky daughters and spends much of her free time adventuring or riding on her motorcycle.
Laury | Executive Assistant
Laury is the first person clients encounter when they contact CMD. And she is the only reason Campbell remembers to call people back! Laury works behind the scenes to button up loose ends, edit contracts, and set clients up for their initial experience with CMD. Laury helps us make sure that we have trade accounts to access the amazing vendors we offer to clients, and has been essential in helping us build our brand. Before joining the CMD Team, Laury worked as a yoga instructor, owned a health and fitness training business for over 15 years, and ran a successful recipe and lifestyle website. She resides in the Philly Suburbs with her husband, two children, and German Shepard (Mix).
